This thoughtfully written and illustrated book demonstrates how perspective affects the way you see something. The child sees the cat as a friendly, warm pet. The dog sees the cat as an enemy to chase. It is a great book to introduce a discussion about how one’s experiences in life can explain how two people can look at/hear/watch the same thing, and feel completely differently about it.
